Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 14, 2026 · Effective: June 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how thomashaughtecom LLC ("Cadence", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit our website, book a engagement, or take part in one. It also describes your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and the EU/UK GDPR.

1. Who we are

Cadence is an email and retention advisory service operated by thomashaughtecom LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States. For GDPR purposes we are the data controller. Registered address: 39348 Davis St, Lebanon, OR 97355. Contact: support@thomashaughtcadence.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

Information collected automatically

3. How we use it

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to deliver the project you ordered); legitimate interests (to run, secure, and improve the service); consent (for optional cookies); and compliance with legal obligations.

5. How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with providers that help us operate, under contract — our payment processor, scheduling tool, video-call platform, and email provider — and where required by law, or as part of a business transfer.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered with and processed directly by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full card number; we receive limited transaction data (such as the last four digits, amount, date, and status) for receipts, refunds, and fraud prevention. Your statement shows CADENCE.

7. Platform access & confidentiality

To build flows in your email platform we need temporary access — either a dedicated user or shared credentials. We use that access strictly to deliver the work, and ask you to revoke or rotate it after handover. Everything you share with us is treated as confidential, and we are glad to sign a mutual NDA before we begin.

8. Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies to operate the site and optional analytics cookies to understand how it is used and improve it. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser or the cookie banner shown on the site.

9. Retention

We keep order and project records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize them. Working files and drafts not required for those obligations are removed on request after handover.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise a right, email support@thomashaughtcadence.com; you will not be treated differently for doing so.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

12. International transfers

We are based in the United States; your information may be processed there or in other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

13. Age

Our service is for adults running or building a business. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

14. Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the date above. Continued use of the site or service after changes take effect means you accept the update.
